Depending on the wood’s size and condition, merchantable lumber can be exported to offset transportation costs to the mill. However, this typically doesn’t exceed the overall service cost.
Do you use "spikes" when climbing?
We prioritize tree health using technical rope climbing methods. Gaffs can damage the tree’s cambium layer and attract pests, so we only use them when completely removing a tree.
I think I may have a bark beetle infestation. How do I handle that?
With California facing a severe Bark Beetle outbreak, eradication is crucial to prevent further spread. We recommend properly disposing of all infested materials to halt the beetles’ destructive cycle. For more information, visit our dedicated page on Bark Beetle management.
